Hello Friends! My name is Kyna Miller. This is my second year teaching 1st grade at this wonderful school. I knew I wanted to be a teacher when I was in first grade because of the wonderful teacher that impacted my life even to this day. My ultimate goal in being a teacher is to make the difference in your child's life as my first grade teacher did to mine. There is something truly special about seeing the excitement in a child learning and growing. One thing I love to say is, "It's a great day to educate minds."

Before starting my career as a teacher I worked in Special Education for three and a half years as a paraeducator and one year as a substitute teacher. During this time I gained valuable knowledge and experience that helps me in meeting the needs of the students I teach.

When I am not teaching I absolutely love snuggling up with a good book and a coffee from Dutch Bros. I am also content in crocheting a fun, new project or spending time by the ocean. I have a love for dancing which continues to play a big part in my life today. I can never turn away from a good peanut butter cup, red velvet cupcake, or Fanta soda.
