Review and approve the minutes from prior meeting

• Sally Golding motioned to accept the minutes, Zach Haralson 2nded the motion

Elect Council Chair and Co-Chair Positions.

• Sally Golding nominated Katy Bennion for Council Chair, Michelle Palileo 2nded the nomination
• Michelle nominated her self as co-chair, Jahnin Harper 2nd
• Zach Haralson motioned to vote

Orientation for new members (Overview Training and What’s New 23-24) and schedule member training

• Videos were watched and the way the plans work was explained by Becky
• Becky explained the member training

Principal report on the status of the Membership Form that needs to be submitted on the School LAND Trust Website by October 20, 2023

• Reviewed and accepted by those present

Review and update: Rules of Order and Procedure. Set priorities for the year and set timelines, including optional/priority projects. 

• Old rules of order are no longer available
• We went over the template rules of order and procedures
• Rules of Order discussion:
• Old minutes and current minutes will be posted upon approval
• We will follow the state’s timeline
• We will maintain the amount of community council member
• In the even of  a tied on a vote, the principal will hold a follow up vote
• Look into a conflict of interest procedure
• Michelle Palileo motioned to accept the rules of order, Sally Golding 2nded the motion

Review priorities for the year and timelines.

• USBE’s timeline was accepted
